DoNotForget Privacy Policy

Overview
DoNotForget is developed and published by COMER STUDIO.
DoNotForget is designed as a local personal organisation application. The current version does not require an account and does not use a COMER STUDIO-operated server to store or synchronise your tasks, shopping items or reminders.
Information stored by the app
You may enter task titles, optional notes, due dates and reminder times, as well as shopping-item names and optional details. The app also stores related task and shopping-item status, completion and history information, along with local record and notification identifiers.
Language, appearance and local reminder settings are also stored locally. This information is kept in app-private storage on your Android device.
Notifications and reminders
Reminders are scheduled locally through Android. A reminder notification may display the associated task title. Task notes are not included in notification content.
The app may request notification permission and exact-alarm access where Android requires them. Android may reschedule local reminders after a device restart or application update. The current version does not use a remote push-notification service.
Data collection and sharing
The current version has no identified developer-controlled mechanism that transmits task, shopping, reminder or preference data to COMER STUDIO or to third-party analytics, advertising or cloud services.
The current version does not contain analytics, advertising, cloud sync or payment SDK functionality.
Android backup and restore
Depending on your device and account settings, Android's system backup functionality may back up some app-private data to your own Google backup account and restore it later. This backup process is provided and controlled by Android/Google. COMER STUDIO does not receive or access those backups through DoNotForget.
Data retention and deletion
App data normally remains on your device until you:
- edit or delete applicable records;
- clear History or Bought data through available app controls;
- clear application data through Android settings; or
- uninstall the application.
An Android system backup may continue to exist according to your Google/Android backup settings and may later restore data.
Security
DoNotForget stores its application data in Android app-private storage and relies on Android's application sandbox and operating-system services for local storage, alarms and notifications.
Children's privacy
DoNotForget is a general-purpose personal organisation tool. It is not specifically designed for children.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated if DoNotForget's functionality or privacy practices change. The effective date on this page will be updated accordingly.
